I'm A Chick-fil-a Mom!

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love Chick-fil-a, so when I received the news that I was chosen for the 2015-2016 Chick-fil-a Moms Panel I was so ecstatic! I feel so happy and honored to have been chosen for this wonderful opportunity.


So what does this mean?

Basically, this means that I'll get to be among the first to hear about inside Chick-fil-a knowledge and happening. I'll also share them with you guys on all my social media networks. I also will have the opportunity to network with an amazing group of moms who share my love for Chick-fil-a.

Our 2015 #DisneySide @Home Celebration

A few months ago I was chosen to host a Mickey & Friends themed #DisneySide @ Home Celebration. We had such a great time planning and hosting our party! Below are the goodie bags I made our guests. 

I used the cookie cutters from last year's box to trace the Mickey heads and added a bow to distinguish Mickey (boy bags) from Minnie (girl bags)

We served our guests food from one of our favorite places .

I used the Mickey cake pan as a serving tray for chips and popcorn. 

The Duff tie dye cake turned out great and tasted so delicious. It was a big hit with all the guests.

 

 

The children absolutely loved the pin the smile on Mickey game!

I used an extra table cloth to create a backdrop for pictures and had my guests pose in front of it.

 

Our #DisneySide @ Home Celebration was a big success. The children had an amazing time and the adults got to learn more about Disney Parks. My family is very excited to plan our first every trip to a Disney Park very soon!

A few weeks ago I received a kit from Redpack Tomatoes to test and review on my blog in honor of the "Redpack Carnevale" promotion. Included in my kit were the following:

• 28 ounce can of Redpack Diced Tomatoes
• 28 ounce can of Redpack Crushed Tomatoes
• 28 ounce can of Redpack Whole Peeled Tomatoes
• 6 ounce can of Redpack Tomato Paste
• 6 Carnevale inspired recipes

The first thing I must say about I love is that the Redpack Tomatoes products are 100% natural! That means no added ingredients. It is also a gluten free product.

I love to cook, that is the reason I jumped at the opportunity to review this product. Redpack Tomatoes products are great for people like me who can't always make everything from scratch. 

I used my Redpack tomatoes to make the Baked Ziti. It was definitely a hit in my house. Not only did my daughter clear her plate but she asked for seconds! We usually have leftovers but not that night!

We absolutely loved the taste of these products. I enjoyed the recipes and am looking forward to trying new recipes from the Redpack Tomatoes website.

I was Chosen to Host a 2015 #DisneySide @ Home Celebration

It's that time of year again! The 2015 #DisneySide @Home Celebrations are starting to begin! In case you've forgotten what your DisneySide is it's "the fun, adventurous spirit that comes out to play when you're feeling the Disney magic!"

Last month I received notice from MomSelect that they were again partnering with the Disney Parks team to give hundreds the opportunity to host their own @Home Celebrations. As an avid lover of anything Disney and someone who isn't ashamed of showing my #DisneySide I had to apply right away!

The waiting process only lasted a few weeks although to me it felt like forever. I'm glad to report that I have to honor of being chosen to host an @Home Celebration again!

This year they have made many changes. No two boxes are the same and they've added themes. The theme you get is depending on the answers you provided in the survey. The themes include:

• Villains
• Preschool Princess
• Preschool Cars
• Multi-generational
• Mickey and Friends

I was chosen to receive a Mickey and Friends kit. Makaylah absolutely loves everything Disney and is very excited that we have been chosen yet again to host a celebration.
